The Bollywood classic Kabhi KhushiKabhie Gham completes 20 years today. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, JayaBachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor, with aspecial appearance by Rani Mukerji.
Karan Johar made six films under hisdirection. All his films touched milestones. The filmmaker penned aheartfelt caption, “It's going to be 20 years and I still feel the euphoria ofhaving this film release on the big screen and people going to watch it. But Ifeel the impact sank in for me much later. And that feeling hasn't stopped eversince, I see all the videos, all the occasions this film's music is a part of,all the dialogues people have now inculcated in their daily life and of course- the fashion!! At the heart of it, I also see that after all this time - it'sall about loving your...family!”
Choreographer Farah Khan and Karan Johar'sDharma Movies posted a musical tribute to mark this special occasion. Sheshared a reel and captioned it, “Epic reel for 20 yrs of an epic film! #20yearsofk3g.. @karanjohar so good to know we still as mad as ever.. maybe more."
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham won five Filmfareawards, including Best Actress for Kajol and Best Dialogue for Karan Johar.
On the work front, the famous Karan Johar iscurrently in Delhi shooting his forthcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani kiKahani which stars Alia Bhat and Ranveer Singh in lead.
