Greta Thunberg, a climate activists from Sweden hadposted a 'Tookit' on Twitter to allegedly help farmers protesting at theborders around Delhi. The Delhi Police had registered a case and severalpoliticians and even the Prime Minister had said that there is a largerinternational conspiracy to malign image of India.
Now the police have arrested a 21 year old climateactivist from Bengaluru in the case. Disha Ravi is one of the founders of"Friday for Future."
The case was registered on February 4 related to thetoolkit. The Delhi police had claimed that the toolkit that was uploaded byGreta and later on updated predates the violence in Delhi.
Praveer Ranjan, Delhi Police Commissioner said, "Thecall was to wage economic, social, cultural and regional war against India."
Ranjan added, "We have registered a case forspreading disaffection against the government of India - it's regardingsedition - and disharmony between groups on religious, social and culturalgrounds, and criminal conspiracy to give shape to such a plan."
