ThePunjab School Education Department has issued instructions for conductingessay, painting and declamation contests in schools in connection with the 75thIndependence Day of India.
Theseinstructions have been issued by the School Education Department in the contextof the events starting across the country under the theme 'Azadi Ka AmrutMahotsav' i.e. 75 weeks before the 75th Independence Day to be celebrated on 15thAugust 2022 next year.
Theschool education department has issued a letter in this regard to the districteducation officers and school heads of the state. The School principals havebeen asked to organize essay, painting and declamation contests related to thefreedom struggle and the contribution of patriots. These competitions will beconducted during the periods of the respective classes as per the schedule ofthe schools.
Thewinners of the competitions will be honored at the school level. Directionshave been given to fully involve non-board classes in these competitions i.e.VI, VII, IX and XI. The information about the events of the freedom strugglewill be shared to the students during the morning assembly.
