Chennai Super Kings to lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad for the second time this season

CSK will be looking to avenge their last defeat from the hands of SRH in their last encounter

Chennai: Despite the special knock of MS Dhoni against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match, CSK lost the match by 1 run. With this defeat, CSK also tumbled down on the second position in the points table.   

However, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is all set to host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.  On Tuesday evening, CSK will be looking to avenge their last defeat from the hands of SRH in their last encounter.

Still the statistics and the fixtures banks upon the Chennai Super Kings. In the last 5 encounters SRH has won only once against the CSK. A total of 11 matches have been played between them till now, in which CSK has won 8 times while the SRH has won only 3 times. In the last IPL, SRH lost his all the matches against the CSK, including the finals.

Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad have the two-most economical spin bowling attacks in VIVO IPL 2019; the overall economy rate of CSK spinners this season is 6.33 and the corresponding number for SRH is 6.62.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (9.07 runs per over) have the best scoring rate in the Powerplay period, while the Chennai Super Kings (6.20) have the poorest scoring rate in that period
