Sitting upon the victory voyage, Delhi capitals to face Mumbai Indians

Both the sides have met earlier in the season with Delhi winning the match by 37 runs

New Delhi: After securing a hat trick of wins, Delhi Capitals (DC) faces Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi.

However, MI will step into the stadium with high on confidence, as they have won their previous match against the Royal challengers Bangalore. Both the sides have met earlier in the season with Delhi winning the match by 37 runs.

A total of nine matches have been played between Delhi and Mumbai at the Feroz Shah Kotla, out of which MI have won thrice and DC has won 6 times.

Although there is a speculation that Shreyas Iyer, skipper of Delhi capitals, might miss Thursday encounter due to a wrist injury which occurred during a net session.

Delhi has lost to Mumbai only once since 2012.  Rishabh Pant has a batting average of 42.2 against MI. When it comes to the man with a golden arm, Srilankan spearhead Lasith Malinga took 21 wickets against the Delhi Capitals. Amit Mishra is one wicket away from becoming only the second player and the first from India to bag 150 wickets in IPL.
