Elite CEOs of the world accepting meagre salaries

With Twitter CEO receiving $1.40 salary in 2018, let’s have a look at the other elite CEO who opted for minimal executive pay check

New Delhi: Twitter revealed on Monday that its own CEO Jack Dorsey accepted the salary of $1.40 annually in 2018.

Twitter in a statement said, “CEO compensation of $1.40. As a testament to his commitment to and belief in Twitter long-term value creation potential, our CEO, Jack Dorsey, declined all compensation and benefits for 2015, 2016 and 2017, and in 2018 he declined all compensation and benefits, other than a salary of $1.40.”

Dorsey also decided to give up any kind of compensation other than the base salary.

However, Jack Dorsey is not the only CEO or CO-Founder who works on minimal executive pay check. Other elite CEOs in the list includes:

Mark Zukerberg

From receiving half a million dollar salary in 2012 to just $1 dollar in 2013, Zukerberg comes in this elite list. However, Zuckerberg received a little more than $600,000 in other reimbursement last year for costs related to his personal use of a chartered aircraft, and his estimated net worth is currently valued around $41 billion.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin

Since 2004, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin gets $1 dollar as salary. However, they declined any  kind of compensation their internal committee offered them as market-competitive salaries. Larry Page is currently worth an estimate of $34.9 billion and Brin is worth an estimate of $34.3 billion.

Elon Musk

The CO-Founder and CEO of Tesla Inc, Elon Musk net worth is 2,090 crores USD, does not accept salary and compensations of any kind from his company.
