The Aam Aadmi Party's Government is in full action mode after having a huge victory in the state. The first Vigilance raid in Punjab has been done in Jalandhar Improvement Trust. The team has started the interrogation under the supervision of the Chief Vigilance Officer.
There have been complaints against the Jalandhar Improvement Trust for a long time. There have been complaints regarding the irregularities of allotments of plots and other issues. The department received complaints but, they have become active after Mann took over the department.
The team started their interrogation from the Chairman’s office. Many files have been seized in the raid by the Chief Vigilance Officer. The files include the details of the plots allotted in the last few years, the files of the projects, besides the lands of the Improvement Trust.

The team is interrogating the officers and employees of the Jalandhar Improvement Trust. The team also seized files from the officers. There is no information shared by the Vigilance team regarding the raid yet. The vigilance team has kept the EO office closed and checking the files closely.
