Jalandhar: In a major shift towards fighting elections on merits, the Achievers group has decided not to indulge in a party culture in fighting elections. Achievers Group has decided to give the prerogative to the Members of selecting the Executive Committee On merits only.
The Gymkhana elections will be taking place on July 14 and till then there will be no parties organized by the Achievers group to attract the voters. While filing the nominations, the Achievers group decided that they will only throw a celebratory party for all Club members after their victory in the elections.
This is the first time in the history of Gymkhana elections that a major group is not throwing a party to lure voters. In this year's election, the Achievers group is totally focused on its group member's merits and party's vision as it comprises of some highly-qualified and experienced members.
