The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has taken action against the lady drug inspector of Gurdaspur, acting on another complaint demanding a bribe. The lady inspector from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar was detained by the Gurdaspur police and brought with them. Along with the female inspector, her rank 4 employee has also been arrested.
The complaint was lodged by a chemist of Gurdaspur on the WhatsApp number issued by Chief Minster Bhagwant Mann. When the investigation into the situation began, it was discovered that according to the complaint, a Grade 4 worker in the Drugs Department was asking for money to issue the chemist's license. Taking action, the police immediately overpowered the rank 4 employee, but the rank four-employee took the name of the drug inspector.
Drug Inspector Bableen Kaur of Gurdaspur is a resident of Amritsar. The cops arrived in Amritsar on Wednesday morning to conduct a raid in the New Amritsar area, but the female drug inspector had fled. When the police intensified the search, information was received that she was hiding at Guru Nanak Dev University. She was detained by police at Guru Nanak Dev University.
