The 22 year old climate Activist, Disha Ravi has beendetained in Bengaluru in a case of toolkit accidently uploaded by Swedishclimate activist Greta Thunberg that she later deleted and again uploaded theupdated version of it.

Ravi's detention has triggered an outrage and activists,politicians, authors, academics and other public figures are coming in hersupport. They are demanding her release.

Jairam Mahesh, former minister and lawmaker duringCongress regime termed Ravi's arrest "completely atrocious." Hetweeted, "Completely atrocious! This is unwarranted harassment andintimidation. I express my full solidarity with Disha Ravi."

P.Chidambaram tweeted, "I strongly condemn thearrest of Disha Ravi and urge all students and youth to raise their voices toprotest against the authoritarian regime #ReleaseDishaRavi"

Priyanka Chaturvedi, Rajya Sabha MP tweeted, "Someserious charges applied against a 21 year old for sharing a ‘dangerous’toolkit. As per BJP our nation is so weak that a written document about farmeragitation shared by an international celebrity will lead to its ‘breakup’ Thenation is much stronger than this toolkit, BJP."

Sitaram Yechury tweeted, "Modi regime thinks byarresting a grand daughter of farmers, under Sedition, it can weaken thefarmers' struggles.
In fact, it will awaken the youth of the country and strengthen the strugglesfor democracy. #DishaRavi"
