67th National Film Awards: Kangana Ranaut Wins Best Actress

In New Delhi, the 67th National Film Awards are currently being announced. The nominations are for films that were released in 2019. Kangana Ranaut of Bollywood won the best actress award for her roles in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga.

Meanwhile, Kangana is planning to launch her new movie trailer on 23rd March, on her Birthday.


Manoj Bajpayee and Dhanush were named best actor for their roles in the Hindi films Bhonsle and Asuran, respectively. Chhichhore, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Sushant Singh Rajput's most recent theatrical debut, won best Hindi film, Asuran won best Tamil film, and Jersey won best Telugu film.

The awards were supposed to take place in May of last year, but were postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak. The Directorate of Film Festivals, which is part of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is in charge of the awards.
