The vehicle of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in Moga has been seized by the police on the instructions of the Election Commission on Sunday. The Akali Dal had complained to the Election Commission about Sonu Sood going to booths other than his own booth.

After which a case of 188 IPC has been registered against him in violation of the order of the District Magistrate at Police Station Moga.  In the initial investigation, it has been found that some people from Mumbai were also roaming with them in the car. According to the election rules, outsiders cannot stay in the state 48 hours before the start of polling.

Meanwhile, after the action of the Election Commission, Sonu Sood left for South Africa on Sunday evening itself. It is being said that some of his movies are being shot there. Harpreet Singh, a police officer posted on election duty, says that he had received information that Sonu Sood is campaigning for sister Malvika Sood, who is contesting from Moga on a Congress ticket. However, Sonu Sood has denied these allegations. He says some people were buying votes. He shared this information on his Twitter handle too.

Police officers during investigation found that the car confiscated by them is not in the name of Sonu Sood or any of his family members. This car is in the name of Harvinder Singh, a resident of Dutt Road, Moga. Sonu Sood used to come to Moga and use this car. This car was often parked at his house as well.
