The makers of the film confirmed that the re-creation of the epic Ramayana Adipurush, will be releasing on the 11th of August, 2022. The movie will be starring a versatile cast, the actors who have very rarely worked with each other let alone all together.
The movie’s release date is said to clash with Akshay Kumar’s new film Raksha Bandhan, release on the same date next year. The movie is made on a budget of Rs 500 crore.
The cast includes, Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon making it a good mix of everything. Actor Prabhas will be seen playing the character of Lord Ram while Said Ali Khan will be playing the role of Ravana and Kriti will be seen putting life to Sita’s character.
The movie is directed by Om Raut and will be produced under the T-Series Films and Retrophiles’s production house. On the other hand the movie Raksha Bandhan will be starring Bhumi Pednekar with Akshay Kumar.
The movie is said to be a comedy drama and we sure know Akshay Kumar does not miss out on his comic timing. After the government had passed the permission to open cinema halls and other public places, slowly people have started to get back to normal while being careful.
A lot of films which were all set to be released on OTT platforms this year have now been postponed to release next year extending their release dates. Other upcoming movies include, Prithviraj, Bunty aur Babli 2, Sooryavanshi, 83 and Shamshera.

Besides Adipurush, Prabhas has some upcoming projects releasing soon and will be available on the big screens this time, just like old times. Prabha’s next movie will be releasing on the 14th of January and will be coinciding with the release date of the movie Sankranti.
