Dropping a note on the plight that he has faced, singer Adnan Sami has launched a scathing attack on the Pakistani regime before receiving India’s citizenship. Born in the UK to a Pakistani father. Sami holds Indian citizenship today and has relentlessly criticized Pakistan despite not being the country’s citizen.
In a fresh attack, the singer took to his social media promising of exposing the reality of the ill-treatment he has received over the years from the Pakistani administration.
Earlier this afternoon, the singer along with his picture shared a long note which read, “Many people ask me why I have such contempt towards Pakistan. The hard truth is that I have absolutely no contempt for the people of Pakistan who have been good to me. I love everyone who loves me- period.”
Clarifying his stand on the issues that he has with Pakistan he added, “However, I have major issues with the establishment. Those who truly know me will also know what that establishment did to me for many years which ultimately became one of the big reasons for me to leave Pak.”

Ending the note with a promise to ‘expose’ the kind of treatment he has received over the years in Pakistan leveling this will shock many. The text ended with a note, “One day, soon, I will expose the reality of how they treated me which not many know, least of all the general public which will shock many! I have remained silent about all this for many years, but will choose the right moment to tell all...”
Soon after it caught people’s attention the users connected with him on social media started pouring in love and support for the singer saying the Indians are with him. A fan wrote, commenting on his post, “India is with you,” while another wrote, “You are the pride of India Adnan Ji. “Keep mesmerizing the world with your music,” tweeted another.
Singer Adnan Sami has been holding citizenship of India since 2016 after he surrendered his Pakistani citizenship while he applied for the Indian Passport a year earlier to it.
Sami has been one of the most recognizable faces of the Indian Music scene contributing to the finest of the duets and signals over the years and went on to receive the coveted Padma Shri in 2020.
