
Today, on 27th December, Air India Airlines has launched two new direct flight routes from Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport, Amritsar. These new routes will connect Amritsar to Bengaluru and Bangkok. This will enhance convenience and save valuable travel time for passengers.
The flights are scheduled to operate four times a week. These days include Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Air India has deployed the state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft for these routes.
These new routes will strengthen regional connectivity and cater to the growing demand for direct travel options. The Amritsar-Bengaluru route will greatly benefit business and leisure travelers, whereas the Amritsar-Bangkok route is expected to attract tourists and foster international ties further. Passengers can now enjoy reduced layover times and greater comfort with these new additions to Air India’s network.
This new Bangkok route will attract more tourists to Amritsar, particularly from South Asia boosting the local hospitality industry and creating job opportunities. Similarly, business ties between Amritsar and both Bangkok and Bengaluru are expected to strengthen fostering greater economic collaboration
