People of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and many other states aresuffering as there are no vacant beds, oxygen cylinders in the hospitals.Somehow, the doctors and people across India have also admitted that this second wave of coronavirus has hit the nation harder than before and the lateststrain of the virus carries a potential threat.
Amid this crisis, everyoneis doing their bit to keep positivity alive during the gloomy days. Fromthe layman to celebrities and influencers, social work organizations, everyoneis amplifying the requests and donations.
In the latest move,Bollywood renowned actor Akshay Kumar along with his author-wife Twinkle Khannahave extended their hand to help those who are in dire need of oxygen by givingaway 100 oxygen concentrators to an organization.
Twinkle Khanna to her social media account onTuesday and wrote, “ "Wonderful news-Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr GovindBankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundation are donating120 oxygenconcentrators and as @akshaykumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 aswell, we have a total of 220. Thank you for the leads. Let’s all do ourbit."
Apart from this, she has also shared a word of positivity on her Instagramcaption which read, “I think forthe last few weeks with members of my own family ill I have been in a bit of ahole. But I couldn’t stay there for long. I implore all of you in your own wayto do whatever you can so we can look back at this bleak moment and at leastsay it took the worst but it brought out the best in all of us.#ILookForSilverLinings."
Akshay Kumar, however, hasalso donated Rs 1 crore to cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir’s Foundation.
Notably, Akshay has recentlyrecovered from Covid-19. On the work front, he would be next seen in Ram Setu,Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Prithviraj.
