Amit-Shah Nitish-Kumar Amit-Shah-Comparative-Analysis

While Bihar Elections 20200 is just around the corner, the phase of accusations and speech has started on a high note. Recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah after recovering from coronavirus fully gave his interview and put a full stop on many rumours floating related to the Bihar Chief Minister's candidate.

Talking to News 18, Amit Shah said that ever since the BJP formed its government with the JDU in Bihar after its spilt-up they reached to a consensus that Nitish Kumar will always be the face of Chief Minister of Bihar. Even if the BJP wins a majority, the party will keep its commitment.

On the split-up of LJP from the NDA, Amit Shah said that it was unfortunate that the LJP had to split-up from the NDA. The reason was that LJP was not happy with the number of seats that were given to them.  The reason was the inclusion of Janata Party into the NDA, it was quite obvious that every party's seat will be decreased even the BJP's seat was decreased but the LJP did not find it fine. We never broke up with them, the official statement of split-up came from the LJP.

Bihar became the fastest growing economy in the regime of the NDA. Talking about budget, Bihar's budget during Lalu's government was 23 thousand crores but today it is 2 lakh 23 thousand crores. During Lalu regime only 18% of households had electricity but today almost 100% of households have electricity. There were 37% of roads during Lalu's regime today it is 80%. "
