"Nitish Kumar will be Chief Minister of Bihar even if BJP gets majority": HM Amit Shah

After not able to form a government in Maharashtra despite winning the elections, the Bihar Elections is going to be a tough task for the BJP and the NDA. While the Bihar General Assembly election is all set to take place till October end, speculations are high that the BJP might consider its own candidate if the party will get the majority in the elections. 

Ever since the LJP has fielded its candidates against the JDU, it is being also said that the BJP might consider Chirag Paswan as the candidate of the Chief Minister of Bihar. 

Now, Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the first time after recovering from COVID 19 interacted with an eminent media organization. Talking to News 18, Union Home Minister said that his health is alright and appealed to people to celebrate Navratri but with the guidelines of the government. 

Talking about Bihar Elections, Amit Shah said, "Since when the BJP allied with Nitish Kumar to form the government in Bihar, from then the BJP had decided to fight the Bihar election with Nitish Kumar as its face. When I was BJP President than me, and now JP Nadda has clearly stated that Nitish Kumar will be the face of Chief Minister of Bihar."

On being asked whether Nitish Kumar will still be chosen if the BJP gets the majority, then Amit Shah said, "Don't speak about if and or, we are quite clear from our side. NDA is going to win the Bihar Elections by 2/3 majority and Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Minister of Bihar."
