Amritsar's law and order are turning out to be a matter of concern as hours after the murder of Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri, another firing incident was reported in the city on Friday. Reportedly, liquor contractors and vendors opened fire during a wedding reception that was taking place at a resort in Amritsar. At the Amritsar wedding reception, a large number of NRIs had gathered for a marriage at the resort on Amritsar-Attari road. The incident left the participants in the marriage in panic. The liquor contractors and his men were objecting to the liquor procured by the NRIs from another part of the city and not from their area. Now, Amritsar wedding reception firing video is going viral on social media.
In the Amritsar wedding reception viral video, it can be seen people running in panic, while some people firing in the resort. In another section of the CCTV footage, it can be seen people in large numbers allegedly liquor contractors and vendors crashing into the marriage function. Few among them were also seen carrying sticks along with them.

One of the guests named Sahil Sharma who was present at the function stated that he attended his friend's son wedding who lives in America. "Two to three men first came to the venue and asked them about liquor. However, those two to three people were asked about their departments and their identity. They were also asked to come up with their officer, however, they came back with their armed men and created a ruckus at the wedding," said Sahil Sharma.
As of now, the Police are probing the matter and examining the CCTV footage from the wedding venue.
