Anand Mahindra promises to gift upcoming XUV700 to India’s Golden Boy

Anand Mahindra promised this gift while replying to a tweet of a netizen, who wrote, “XUV700 for him.”

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has announced that he would gift javelin thrower and India’s “Golden Boy,” Neeraj Chopra, the upcoming XUV700. Neeraj Chopra performed extremely well during the finals and bagged the country’s first-ever Olympics athletics gold.

Mr Mahindra congratulated the champion uniquely, he compared Olympian with factious action character Baahubali and tweeted, “We’re all in your army, Baahubali #NeerajChopra.” 

Mahindra Chairman made this promise while replying to a netizen’s tweet, who asked Anand Mahindra to give the champion an upcoming XUV700.

Anand Mahindra tagged two top executives of the automobile company, and tweeted, “Yes indeed. It will be my personal privilege & honour to gift our Golden Athlete an XUV 7OO @rajesh664 @vijaynakra Keep one ready for him please.”

After the announcement one of the Twitter users said, “Why one for him, would say first one for him.” On this Anand Mahindra replied, “We hear you.”

Neeraj Chopra has made the nation proud and everyone praised him for his outstanding performance in Tokyo Olympics 2021 javelin throw final. Hindi film personalities Lata Mangeshkar, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Taapsee Pannu, Anil Kapoor and others praised the young athlete for making the country "proud".

Neeraj Chopra was emotional during the medal ceremony and later, he dedicated his medal to legendary athlete Milkha Singh. Neeraj said, “Neeraj Chopra said, “I came here with a mindset to do something different for the nation. This medal is dedicated to legendary Milka Singh Ji.”

"It feels unbelievable. It is the first time India has won gold in athletics, so I feel very good. We have just one gold here in other sports. This is our first Olympic medal for a very long time, and in athletics, it is the first time we have gold, so it's a proud moment for me and my country,” a 23-year-old star athlete further said.
