Filmmaker Anand Pandit has revealed in an interview the real reason behind keeping Riya Chakraborty hidden from the posters of her film 'Chehre'. According to him, he did not want to take advantage of Riya's situation for the commercial benefit of his film.

In conversation with The Indian Express, Anand Pandit said, "I don't see any reason behind not mentioning her name. She is included in the film's 8 Artists list. We signed her up in advance and she did her part satisfactorily. We see her as an actor who has done a good job. Also, I did not want to take advantage of his situation for the commercial benefit of my film. So we decided that in the second poster, her name won’t be mentioned. She has gone through a lot of turmoil in her life and we don't want to add any more trouble to her. We took her into the picture when she was comfortable”.

Last month, the trailer of 'Chehre' under the direction of Rumi Jafri was released. It featured stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, and Annu Kapoor as well as Riya Chakraborty. Until then the audience was not being able to catch any glimpse of the actress in any of the posters and teasers so there were speculations that Riya had dropped out from the film.
