After the shocking murder of Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal, another Kabaddi player had been shot dead in Patiala on Tuesday night. Bullets were fired at him around 10:30 p.m. at a petrol pump behind Patiala University.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Singh, a resident of village Kalan. He used to organize kabaddi tournaments in the village every year and was the head of the kabaddi tournament club. He was a farmer and also the operator of the gym. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

Dharmendra’s brother has lodged an FIR in this regard. He informed the police that Dharmendra has no rivalry with anyone. Police have taken the body into possession and sent it for post-mortem.

Seeing the daily killings, former Punjab Pradesh Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has started questioning CM Bhagwant Mann and even told him to leave his post.

“Complete collapse of law & order in Punjab while CM busy seeking votes in Himachal’s cool breezes.. 2 more cold blood murders in Patiala today. On an average 3-4 murder taking place daily, people are in state of fear. Best way to discharge your duty is to dispense with it,” wrote Sidhu on Twitter.

This incident happened on the same night when the announcement of the formation of the Anti Gangster Task Force was made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
