'Anupamaa' of television tests positive for coronavirus

The legend lady of Indian television, everyone’s dearest Anupama played by Rupali Ganguly has been tested covid positive. Earlier, another actor Paras Kalnawat from the cast had tested positive and was quarantined. Now that he was back for shooting in good health Rupali Ganguly has gone to covid quarantine. Her family and fellow cast-crew members have also undergone the test whose results are still awaited.

Rupali Ganguly is the lead actress of the TV drama ‘Anupama’ who plays the role of a housewife struggling between her ending marriage and kids. In a recent update, the actress informed that so far her symptoms are mild and is staying in isolation from others. 

The announcement was made by Rupali on his Instagram handle on Friday afternoon where she wrote, “MA corona devi. Tu hai ki nahiii (mild to asymptomatic) ye kya hua kaise hua kab hua, jab hua tab hua…chodo ye na pooch. This is the kind of positive I didn’t want to be. Take care and stay safe everyone and keep showering ur love on my family and Anupama family. Sorry for letting u and Rudransh down @ashwinkverma and the entire unit down @raja.shahi543 despite u taking all the precautions-pata nahi kaha se kaise ho gya..have quarantined me away from my family and other humans. The family has been tested and awaiting results.. please keep them in ur prayers. Unit is getting tested too as I write this.. please send out a lot of love, healing and prayers for my family and for my Anupama family.”
