Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah has been facing a lot of hate comments on social media for some time. People are even threatening her for rape for her bold photos. In this connection, Aaliyah shared a post on her social handle. In which she spoke openly against hatters and people who are threatening her. Not only this, but she has also recently posted a bikini photo of herself.
Aaliyah says that due to these bad comments she is constantly facing mental trouble. Sometimes she feels that she should delete her social media handle. However, contrary to all this, Aaliyah seems to be in a mood to give trolls a befitting reply.
In her note, Aaliyah wrote, "The past few weeks have been really hard on my mental health. Ever since I posted a photo of me in lingerie, I have been getting the most vile, degrading and disgusting comments. I have never felt more frightened than I have in the past few weeks to the point where I considered deleting my Instagram."
"We seem to be a country that will hold candle marches for a woman after she's been sexually assaulted but won't protect a woman while she's alive. And the truth is that women in India grow up being sexualized their whole lives. I have grown up with these kinds of comments to the point where it culminated into me being sexually assaulted as a minor by a middle-aged man," she added.
Aaliyah also shared screenshots of users who are giving her rape threats.
