London:  Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was spotted in London with wife and Bollywood actor, Anushka Sharma earlier this week even as Team India is on a brief break between matches at ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

India had comfortably outclassed arch-rivals Pakistan in a much-anticipated World Cup 2019 clash at Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday. The second-ranked ODI side, led by Kohli, will next face Afghanistan after a five-day break in Southampton.

Notably, the wives and family members of the India players seem to have joined them in England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India had reportedly allowed the wives and family members of the India players and the support staff to stay with the team for a 15-day period during the ongoing World Cup.

However, the wives and family members were not allowed to travel with the cricketers for the first 20 days of World Cup 2019, which included India's big-ticket tie against Pakistan.
Shikhar Dhawan took to social media to post a photograph of himself and his family with his opening partner Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira.
"Enjoying the local train journey with the Sharma family," Dhawan wrote on Instagram.

Notably, Ritika Sajdeh was cheering for Rohit and Team India from the stands at Old Trafford even as the India vice-captain went on to blast 140 in India's 89-run (DLS) win over Pakistan on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, Rohit Sharma credited his family for helping him be in "good space" in the initial stages of his World Cup 2019 campaign.

"I am in a very good phase of my life. I have a newly born daughter and that has really put me in a good space. I'm enjoying my cricket, coming off a great IPL campaign and then starting off here," Rohit Sharma had said.

Having won 3 out of their first 4 matches, India next faces Afghanistan at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on Saturday.
