Moreover, any damages to other components of the headset are projected to be even more significant, with a potential cost of $2,399 (around Rs 2 lakh).
Talking about AppleCare+ policy, customers will have to pay $499 for two years or $24.99 monthly for the coverage plan. However, repairs are not entirely free and Apple's official website states that it will still cost about $299. Therefore, with AppleCare+, fixing glass issues would be around $798 in total, which is just $1 less than without the plan. However, there are benefits to buying an AppleCare+ policy as well. To be precise, other than damaged glass, AppleCare+ can save you a lot more money, avoiding the massive $2,399 repair cost.
