Actress Arya Banerjee, who worked with Vidya Balan in the film The Dirty Picture, has passed away. The body of the 33-year-old actress was found in suspicious circumstances. She was found dead in her Kolkata residence.Police said that Arya Banerjee was her screen name and her real name was Devdutta Banerjee. She was the daughter of late sitar maestro Nikhil Banerjee.
Going by the reports, Arya's body was covered with blood when police arrived at the scene. Arya's maid informed the police after the actress didn't receive any calls when she went to work at her residence. As per reports, the police broke into Arya's house and found her body on a bed with nose bleeding and vomiting. Police are now investigating the suspicious death of the actress.
Arya debuted in the film 'Love Sex Aur Dhoka' and then she starred in Milan Luthria's 'The Dirty Picture'.
