The voting stage of all 5 states of Assembly Elections2020 has been completed today. An election exit poll is a poll of voters takenimmediately after they have exited the polling stations. Exit polls are alsoused to collect demographic data about voters and to find out why they voted asthey did. Since actual votes are cast anonymously, polling is the only way ofcollecting this information.

The majority of the exit polls are showing the win of AAM(Aam Aadmi Party) in the state. The current ruling government of Punjab isCongress which does not get led in any of the exit polls.

UP Assembly Elections 2022 Exit Polls

The elections in Uttar Pradesh were held from 10 Februaryto 7 March 2022. The voting was done in seven-phase for the 403 seats in UttarPradesh Legislative Assembly. BJP is currently the ruling party in UttarPradesh and Yogi Adityanath is the Chief Minister of the state. The exit pollsfor the state are as:
