ATP of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation, Sukhdev Vashisht's woes are not coming to an end in the 30 thousand rupees bribe case. Sukhdev Vashishtha was once more presented in the court today. Where Vigilance has requested 7 days remand of Sukhdev Vashishtha from the court. Where the court has granted 3 days' remand of Sukhdev Vashisht. Before this too, Vigilance had taken remand of Sukhdev Vashisht for 2 days two times. Vigilance has also questioned the owners of those buildings to whom notices were sent by ATP. It is being reported that ATP has detected irregularities in certain numbers of complaints in the register, for which ATP is being questioned. Now there can be possibilities of major revelations in the 3 days of remand.
On the arrest of ATP, Vigilance stated that the complainants have complained about the said accused extorting money from individuals intentionally by taking long times in approving applications. He stated that 70 percent of building maps in the Jalandhar zone have already been cleared by the Municipal Corporation.
But the aforesaid Assistant Town Planner Sukhdev Vashishtha had not accepted some of the applications until he was bribed. It must be recorded that BJP leaders have leveled serious charges against ATP. The BJP leader has also informed the Municipal Corporation officials through video that soon he will make the matter public.
