Australian actor Hugh Jackman tests positive for Covid 19

Hugh Jackman shared that he is having a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose.

Australian actor Hugh Jackman tested positive for Covid-19. The Hollywood star shared the news on his social media mentioning its symptoms.

He wrote on Twitter sharing his video, “just wanted you to hear it from me. I tested positive for covid. Mild symptoms and as soon as I’m cleared … looking forward to getting back to The Winter Garden! @MusicManBway”

In the video, Jackman said, “My symptoms are like a cold. I have a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose, but I’m fine. And I’m just gonna do everything I can to get better ASAP. And as soon as I’m cleared, I’ll be back on stage, heading to River City. Please stay safe, Be healthy, be kind.”

He also said that as soon as he was cleared, he would be back on stage. The performance of Broadway's The Music Man has been cancelled now, as the lead artist is suffering from Covid.

Hugh Jackman is best known for his role as Wolverine / Logan in the X-Men film series.
