Under the captaincy of Finch, the Australia cricket team celebrated the whole night after the historic victory. The David Warner and Mitchell Marsh-starrer Australian side defeated tournament favourites New Zealand by eight wickets to lift their first-ever T20 World Cup title. The players are seen dancing and making merry in the dressing room.

In a video, Marcus Stoinis is seen drinking beer from shoes. This shoe belongs to Matthew Wade, in which he is also seen drinking alcohol. Many fans are wondering that why did Australian players drink alcohol by putting them in shoes?

Let us tell you that drinking from a show is a popular celebration in Australia, which is performed as a bringer of good fortune and as a party piece. Australia's Formula One star Daniel Ricciardo introduced the F1 world to the 'shoey' celebration -- drinking the celebratory champagne from his shoe -- in 2016 at the German Grand Prix.

In a video posted on ICC's Instagram handle, Wade is seen removing his right shoe, pouring a drink in it and then gulping it down with his Australian teammates and support staff cheering him on.

Stoinis, had partnered Wade in a crucial role in helping Australia beat Pakistan in the semi-final, and then joins his teammate by pouring his drink in the same shoe and glugging it down.
