Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has recently wrapped the shooting of Abhishek Kapoor's Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Ayushmann will be seen romancing Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor for the first time. The movie is based in Chandigarh. Reports also say that Abhishek had planned this movie for Sushant Singh Rajput, however, the actor left the world before the shooting began.
Now going by the reports of peepingmoon.com, Ayushmann's upcoming movie Doctor G under the banner of Junglee Pictures will soon go the floors. The reports state that Junglee Pictures has locked in Rakul Preet Singh to play the female lead opposite Khurrana in its recently announced campus comedy-drama, Doctor G. Rakul will play a medical student in Ayushmann's Doctor G, written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat.

Rakul Preet already has big films like May Day and Thank God in her kitty. It is said that Rakul has agreed to come on board for Doctor G after talks with Mrunal Thakur fizzled out as her dates were clashing with Raja Krishna Menon's Ishaan Khattar starrer Pippa.
