Bank Holidays in February 2023: Banking services to remain shut for 10 days; Check the state-wise full list here

The list of holidays is in accordance with the RBI, which publishes a list of bank holidays on its official website

February 2023 in the banking has brought in a total of 10 holidays, including the weekend offs which is fairly less than the previous month. Owing to the authorized holidays this month will only have one Saturday as a working day.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that the 10 days holidays of the bank are not the same for all the states and differs state-wise. The list of holidays is in accordance with the RBI, which publishes a list of bank holidays on its official website.

Apart from the holidays provided nationally this month has a few state-specific holidays on which the banks won’t be open, although the internet banking facilities will remain functional for the entire month.

February 5: Sunday.

February 11: Second Saturday.

February 12: Sunday.

February 15, Wednesday: Banks to remain closed in Manipal on the occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni.

February 18, Saturday: Banks are closed in most of the states except Tripura, Mizoram, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Rajasthan, Bengal, Delhi, Goa, Bihar, and Meghalaya on the account of Mahashivratri.

February 19: Sunday.

February 20, Monday: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram on the occasion of Mizoram State Day.

February 21, Tuesday: Walk-in banking services to remain shut in Sikkim on the occasion of Losar.

February 25: Fourth Saturday.

February 26: Sunday.

To avoid delays, go through the complete holiday roaster for February month and schedule their tasks accordingly.
