Bank Holidays in November 2022: Banking services to remain shut for 10 days, check the state-wise full list

The RBI has released the full list of bank holidays for the month of November which will observe a total of 10 holidays in the month including weekends, which is relatively less than the months of September and October which witnessed over half of the months as holidays.

Although the 10 days of holidays mentioned are not mentioned in entire states, the off as scheduled is based on the festivals and occasions restricted to a particular state.

This segment contains the entire list of state-wise holidays in the coming month. However, it is pertinent to mention that the online banking services will remain operational even on the holidays as well.

Complete List of Bank Holidays in November 2022:

November 1, Tuesday: The banks will remain closed in Karnataka and Manipur only owing to Karnataka Rajyotsava and Kut observed in the mentioned states respectively. Apart from this, banks in all the other states will remain open.

November 6: Sunday.

November 8, Tuesday: The busiest of all owing to various festivals falling on this day. Banking holidays will be observed in Aizwal, Bhopal, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Belapur, Nagpur, Bhubaneshwar, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu, Shimla, and Srinagar owing to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Puri.

November 11, Friday: The bank holidays will be observed in Meghalaya and Karnataka only owing to Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala Festival.

November 12: Second Saturday.

November 13: Sunday, pan India and Seng Kutsnem in Shillong.

November 20: Sunday.

November 26: Fourth Saturday.

November 27: Sunday.
