The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for June 2025. Banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days next month. These include many regional festivals, including Bakrid, Sundays, and weekly holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. The Reserve Bank of India prepares the holiday list of all banks every year in collaboration with the state governments and makes it public on its official website.
All government and private banks across the country are closed every Sunday and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Apart from this, some state-level holidays have also been announced by the RBI, which will be valid only in the respective states. Therefore, customers are advised that if they want to go to the bank branch next month to settle any important work, then first check the holiday list so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.
