The answer is yes. Banks in India, including Punjab, will remain closed for two days this week. Banks will remain closed on July 12 and July 13. While July 12 is the second Saturday, July 13 is Sunday. As per the RBI's calendar, banks in India will have to remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays. Sundays are official weekoffs in every bank in India.
