The demand for the caste-based census seems to be the next being thing that might put the Centre and the State at the loggerheads. In a bid to make their voices heard on the caste-based census, Bharat Bandh has been called on May 25. Bharat Bandh May 25 reason lies in the announcement of  All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF).  All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF) has called for Bharat Bandh on Wednesday (May 25) to protest against the Centre's firm stance of not conducting the caste-based census. 

Bharat Bandh Reason May 25 Explained

Bharat Bandh May 25 has been called by All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF). The All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF) has been demanding for a caste-based census. However, the Centre is not in favour of conducting such type of census. Neeraj Dhiman, the Saharanpur District President of the Bahujan Mukti Party (BMP) stated that the organisation has called the Bharat Bandh to stage a protest against the Government of India over the non-conducting of the caste-based census. 


Apart from the caste-based census, the federation is also protesting against the use of EVMs during elections and the issue of reservations for the SC/ST/OBC in private sectors. Not only the BAMCEF, the Bharat Bandh May 25 has also been supported by Bahujan Mukti Party, whose acting state president DP Singh has urged the people to make it successful. Waman Meshram, the National convener of Bahujan Kranti Morcha, has also extended his support to the Bharat Bandh on May 25.
