Bigg Boss Telugu 5 begins grandly; From Ravi Kiran, Swetaa to Lahari Shari, here’s complete list of contestants

Bigg Boss has become one of the most lovedshows across the country. As much as Bigg Boss Hindi has gained popularity, itsregional versions have also gained audience over the years. While Bigg BossHindi is being hosted by Salman Khan for several years now, BiggBoss Tamil has Kamal Haasan, Bigg Boss Kannada has Kichcha Sudeep and Bigg BossMalayalam has Mohanlal as hosts. Bigg Boss Telugu, on the other hand, is allset to see Nagarjuna Akkineni as the host for the third time. The serieslaunched with Jr NTR as the host of the first season. Second season of BiggBoss Telugu was hosted by Nani. Later, the makers roped in Nagarjuna.

The Star Maa has scheduled to air the programat 10 pm from Monday to Friday while it will be telecasted at 9 pm on Saturdayand Sunday. Akkineni Nagarjuna who will be hosting the Big Boss for the thirdtime has given hint that there will be more fun and entertainment this timearound.

‘Bigg Boss 5’ has selected some popular faceswhich include Anchor Ravi, actress Priya, Shanmukh Jaswanth, Umadevi, IndianIdol fame Sreerama Chandra. It also has not-so-popular ones like Hamida,Priyanka Singh, Lobo, and Anee. 

The Bigg Boss contestants were said to haveundergone quarantine for a period as a part of COVID protocol. It is also saidthat the contestants would enter the Bigg Boss house after undergoing RTPCRtests.

Exactly a year after the fourth seasonof Bigg Boss Telugu was aired, the fifth season gets underway.Nagarjuna leads the proceedings this time too, and the makers are promising anend to 'boredom'. The Tollywood star called the show 'fulfilling' and thatit catered to all age groups. 

Nagarjuna stated that the last few months hadbeen tough for everyone and thus, the endeavor of the show was to bring joy inthe lives of fans through 'best-in-class entertainment.' The actor stated thatas an artist, he was looking forward to representing and bringing forward the'true feelings' of the contestants so that viewers could understand thembetter. The 62-year-old added that he was delighted to be a part of a show thatwas 'entertaining every member of the family.'
