Earlier, CM Channi had said that Sirsa got the apology for Kejriwal and now Sirsa is furious over the remark. BJP leader said that CM should give proof of his statement or make a public apology, otherwise he will file a defamation case against Mr Channi.

While speaking in the press conference in Chandigarh, CM Charanjit Channi targeted Kejriwal and said that he had apologized to Bikram Majithia, amid the ruckus about Majithia's involvement in the drug case. Showing the apology, CM Channi said that this apology was given by Manjinder Sirsa, who was then in the Akali Dal.

In this regard, Manjinder Sirsa said that he never met Majithia and Kejriwal regarding this matter, nor did he ever talk about it and CM is lying. So he has to publicly apologize, he also challenged CM Channi to show evidence to prove his point.

He further said that if he failed to do so, he will file a defamation claim against Channi in Delhi court.

Recently, CM has passed another controversial remark against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (along with Badals and Captain Amarinder Singh). He said that families who have lost their sons due to the menace of drugs will never forgive Badals, Kejriwal and Captain for their sins against the state.

The Chief Minister then unequivocally said that he will not spare a single person who has sinned against the people of Punjab.
