In a shocking development, two United States army choppers crashed after colliding n while on a training mission over Kentucky. As per US media reports, the Kentucky Helicopter crash took place on Wednesday and there are multiple deaths have been feared. Notably, after the Kentucky Black Hawk crash the status of the crew members is unknown (while writing). After the Kentucky helicopter crash, the State Police and emergency division have been deployed to respond to the crash. Governor Andy Beshear took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "We’ve got some tough news out of Fort Campbell, with early reports of a helicopter crash and fatalities are expected. @kystatepolice, @KentuckyEM and local officials are responding. We will share more information as available. Please pray for all those affected."

As per reports, the two helicopters involved in the crash are HH-60 Black Hawk in US Military's fleet. The assault helicopters were from the 101 Airborne Division (army's only assault division) based in Fort Campbell. The HH-60 helicopters are versatile flying machines used by the military for various purposes including air assaults and medical evacuation.

It is pertinent to mention here that it is not the first time Black Hawk choppers have crashed. In February this year, Black Hawk crashed in the US’s Alabama, resulting in the death of all individuals on board. As per reports, the chopper was a Tennessee National Guard Black Hawk helicopter. Madison County sheriff's office was quoted saying, "We have no survivors,” Investigator Brent Patterson said. “We have a crime scene here. We have it taped off."
