The incident reported on the evening of September 4, blast a firecracker factory in Batala. A grief demise of at least 12 people and many injured after the fire broke out the factory in Batala on Wednesday.
The firecrackers were supposed to be light on Guru Nanak Dev marriage anniversary celebrations tomorrow.

Ambulances, fire tenders, and other emergency vehicles are being rushed from Gurdaspur and Amritsar to pull out the injured, for the chaos control. DC, Gurdaspur, Vipul Ujwal has reached the spot along with SSP Upinderjit Singh Ghuman accompanied by other police officials.
