Bollywood celebs wish fans on the occasion of Ram Navami

Many bollywood celebrities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to their social media accounts to send good wishes to the Indian public on the festival.

The birth of Lord Ram marked by Ram Navami is being celebrated all across the today. Navami is one of the most auspicious festivals of the Hindu religion. It is celebrated on the ninth day of Chaitra month Shukla Paksha. According to the Hindu mythology it is believed that on this day Lord Ram was born to Queen Kaushalya and King Dashrath. Every year the devotees worship the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu with lavish celebrations but this year owing to covid 19 surge the festival spirit will be a little low.


Many Bollywood celebrities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to their social media accounts to send good wishes to the Indian public on the festival. PM Narendra Modi took to his Twitter handle wishing and requesting the people of India to abide by the Covid restrictions while celebrating the occasion, “today is Ram Navami and Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram’s message to all of us is to follow protocol. In this crisis of Corona, please follow whatever measures are available to avoid corona. Remember the mantra os ‘dawai bhi, Kadai bhi’”.

Among Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Kangana Ranaut, and others took to their social media to extend their warm wishes. Akshay wrote, “On this auspicious day, team #RamSetu wishes you all happy #RamNavami”. Bollywood’s Sanju Baba writes, “praying for everyone’s well-being today and urging all of you to take as many precautions as possible. May Lord Ram bless us all and end our sufferings soon”.
