Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, an accused in the drugs-on-cruise-ship case, no longer needed to appear before the NCB office in Mumbai every Friday as part of his bail condition.

The court stated, "The applicant (Aryan) shall attend the office of NCB Delhi as and when directed by the agency, provided the NCB issues a 72-hour notice to the applicant.”

Aryan Khan was arrested by the anti-drugs agency on October 3. He was accused of possession, consumption, sale and purchase of banned drugs. On October 28, he was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.

Meanwhile, The Bombay High Court imposed 14 restrictions on Aryan Khan's release, including the need that he will not leave Mumbai without first telling the police and that he will appear before the agency every Friday.

Since his bail, Aryan had visited the NCB’s Mumbai office on November 5, 12, 19 and 26 and December 3 and 10. Aryan Khan appealed to the Bombay High Court and filed a plea for modification of the bail conditions. He requested some relaxation in the 14 restrictions imposed on him in his bail plea.

The Bombay High Court earlier shared the detailed bail order of the Aryan Khan’s drug case, which said that there is no evidence of a conspiracy against Aryan Khan. The High Court has also said that nothing objectionable was found in WhatsApp conversations between Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha related to a drug offense.
