His note read, “My family and I and everyone at home have done their RTPCR tests and with the grace of God we are all negative. In fact, I tested twice just to be safe and am negative. I truly appreciate the grandest efforts of the BMC to ensure the safety of our city. Salute to them. To some members of the media, I would like to clarify that an 8 people intimate gathering is not a ‘party.’ And my home which we maintain strict protocols in is certainly no ‘hotspot’ of covid.”

Karan Johar posts further read, “All of us are responsible and masked at all times and no one would treat this pandemic lightly. My request to certain members of the media is to exercise some restraint in their extreme reportage without the assessment of facts! Lots of love and safety to all. Karan Johar.”

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sanitised and sealed Kareena's residential complex on Tuesday. According to the BMC, three buildings have been sealed according to protocol. Karan's residential building was also properly sanitized.

Kareena's spokeswoman stated that she was at a private dinner and may have contracted the virus. "Kareena has been exceedingly responsible throughout the lockdown time," the official stated. She's been cautious every time she's left the house. Unfortunately, she and Amrita Arora caught Covid at a private dinner gathering with a few friends to catch up. It wasn't a large celebration, despite what was claimed. There was one individual in that group who felt poorly and coughed, and who finally passed it on. This guy should have responsible to not to show up for the dinner and risking others.”

Kareena came to Instagram on Monday to update her fans on her health. Others alleged to be in risk at the same event include Kareena Kapoor's sister, actress Karisma Kapoor, and Amrita Arora's sister, actress Malaika Arora.
