Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the title role in Bachchan Pandey who is a deadly gangster. Apart from Akshay Kumar, actors like Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi will also be seen in this movie. The movie is directed by Farhad Samji.

As per netizens, Bachchan Pandey is Hinduphobic in nature. Fans are not happy that the film-maker has used the name of Bachchan 'Pandey' for a gangster role as Pandey belongs to the Brahmin community of Hindus. Not only this, Bachchan Pandey's 'Holi par Goli' tagline too came under the scanner of netizens who accused the film-makers of maligning the Indian festival of colours. Furthermore, netizens are outlining that Director Farhad Samji belongs to Muslim community and therefore he is trying to spread Hinduphobia.

As per the IANS report, Bachchan Pandey has become the talk of the town, not for its song or action scenes, but, for the remuneration charged by Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar. According to sources, Akshay has charged Rs 100 Crores for the film. Akshay Kumar had also entered the Forbes top 10 highest-paid actors list.
