In an unusual event taken place in the financial capital of India i.e. Mumbai, a businessman has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for forging the number plate of Bollywood actress Sunny Leone’s husband's car. Sunny Leone's husband's car reportedly got several challans for road safety violations that were actually committed by the businessman who lives at Khadagpada in Kalyan.
Going by the reports of Mid-Day, the name of the businessman is Piyush Sen who was taken on remand by the Mumbai Police on Wednesday. During the interrogation, Sen revealed that he felt the number would prove lucky for him and therefore he forged Leone’s husband Daniel Weber's car number plate.

Weber’s driver Akbar Khan spotted his car on Achyutrao Patwardhan Marg in Andheri. He reported the misuse of Weber’s Mercedes car number to DN Nagar traffic constable Akush Nirbhavane, who asked Sen to show his vehicle’s papers. While Sen had the original papers of his Merc, it had different registration and chassis numbers.
Joint Commissioner of Traffic Yashasvi Yadav said, "Akbar Khan also informed Weber who came to the police station with the papers of his Mercedes GL Formatic car that has MH05CT- as the first part of the registration number. The traffic police have registered a case under section 420, 465, 468 of the IPC and the Motor Vehicle Act 139 at the Versova police station."
Recently, Sunny was in limelight when Kerala Crime Branch officers came to question her on the sets of Spiltsvilla in a cheating case.
