Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu once again launched a sharp attack at his arch-rival Captain Amarinder Singh. Sidhu's derogatory remarks over the senior Punjab leader comes the same day, Capt Amarinder slammed CM Channi and PPCC head (Sidhu) over border security.

On Saturday, Sidhu joined a rally to support Congress MLA Navtej Cheema in Sultanpur Lodhi constituency. While addressing the crowd, Sidhu made some derogatory remarks against the former Punjab Chief Minister.

Taking a dig at Captain Amarinder, Sidhu said that "he (Amarinder Singh) made me sit at home. He said that his doors are closed for Sidhu. Now all Kings and Queens have disappeared."

"No one ever thought that anybody could remove Captain (Amarinder Singh). But I did so. I made him sit at home," Sidhu added.

"Captain now grovels to Modi. He used to dance to BJP's tunes and still does the same," said the Congress leader.

Notably, Sidhu played a major role in Capt Amarinder’s dismissal. Now, Captain’s Punjab Lok Congress is set to challenge Congress in the upcoming state elections.

Amarinder Sigh will be in seat-sharing with PM Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party.

Further, criticising Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, Sidhu said, "he (Arvind Kejriwal) is just an advertisement Chief Minister.

"Last time in 2017, Kejriwal claimed that his party will win 100 seats. He claimed that the entire Punjab backs him. But everybody knows what happened in the previous elections," Sidhu said.

The cricketer-turned-politician once again raised questions over women representation in the Delhi cabinet. "Why didn't he give 1000 rupees to any woman in Delhi. He is a bigger liar than Sukhbir Badal," he added.

The party unit head also took a swipe at SAD chief Sukhbir Badal at Sultanpur Lodhi. Once again, accusing Badals of sacrilege, Sidhu said that the people of Punjab will bring Badals to justice.
