The increasing incidents of air firing in Jalandhar are stressing the locals. After every few days, there are videos on social media showing youths of the city firing bullets in the air.
Now a video has surfaced on social media showing a girl standing in her courtyard with a pistol in her hand. She then pointed the pistol in the sky, closed her eyes and then fired in the air. She was not even looking up while firing bullets. From the position she was firing, a person standing on a high ceiling could also be a victim of bullets.

Vigilance unearths another scam in labour, transportation tenders in Ferozepur grain markets
Not only this, but another similar video of air firing is going viral on social media. In the video, a teenage youth can be seen firing with a double-barreled gun. There are similar incidents in which youths can be seen making air-firing videos for fake pride on social media.
The name of the young man who opened fire on social media is Gursher Kharbanda. This is not the only video of that boy, there are many other videos as well in which he can be seen doing the same thing. In the video, his father can also be seen with him. He is studying in a school located in Model Town. His father works as a property dealer and also has a furniture showroom.
On one hand, these videos are getting viral all over the internet, while the Jalandhar police are taking no action against this. Jalandhar's ADCP Balwinder Singh said that this video has come to his notice and the police started the investigation and after the investigation legal action will be taken against it.
