Amid the ongoing conditions due to the Covid-19 crisis, theCentral Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday cancelled the Class XII BoardExams for 2021.
The decision has been taken in a meeting chaired by PrimeMinister Narendra Modi held to review all plausible options to conduct the examsamid the second wave of the pandemic.
The CBSE has now stated that the results of Class 12students will be prepared on the basis of the well-defined objective criteriain a time-bound manner.
It may be noted here that in the last years, some studentswho apsired to take the exams, were given an option to appear for the same whenthe situation would be conducive.
