Big news for the resumption of flights from Chandigarh Airport; travelers need to take note. There has been a fresh update about the resumption of flights at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport. Flights from the airport have resumed. Based on the reports, flight services from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Kotmanthri Airport, Chandigarh, have been resumed from 10.30 am on May 12.
Chandigarh AirPort @ixcairport is now open for normal civil flight operations with immediate effect, as per information conveyed by CEO CHIAL, says DC Mohali.
The airport authority has urged the passengers to approach their respective airlines for new timetables. It is pertinent that domestic and international flight operations were suspended from the airport after India-Pakistan border tensions.
Now, after around 7 days, the situation is back to normal. There are around 50 local and 2 foreign flights every day from the airport. The number of people on these flights has also grown.
If we speak about the numbers, there are around 15 thousand daily passengers, including international ones.
